As I was blurrily (is that a word?) driving out of my way this morning to pick up a mocha, I wondered if other people got the same rush as I when they take the first sip of their coffee of choice for the day.
I’m a mocha drinker myself. I can’t do coffee without milk or my tummy complains. AND it must be hot milk since I enjoy the temperature of the drink as much as the taste. So if I’m doing coffee and hot milk, what the heck… lets add chocolate! Wow, just writing that inspired a big happy sigh. How could I do without that bliss for the day? I think I might be on the same page as Jennifer Anniston:
Look I eat really well and I work out, but I also indulge when I want to. I don’t starve myself in an extremist way. You’re not taking away my coffee or my dairy or my glass of wine because I’d be devastated.
But this brings up the question… why is coffee often maligned? IS it bad for you? Is it good for you? (and do we addicts care? ) AND is the idea that it might be bad for you part of the allure?
In my search for the meaning of coffee, I’ve gathered some great images on my Pinterest board… Coffee, Coffee and more Coffee. I am fascinated by how many people LOVE coffee. I can follow Pinterest images of coffee that other pinners have pinned from all over the world! It’s a huge community brought together by this “liquid love”.
I ask you out there… what do YOU think? I’d really love to hear from you.
