I joined the 1 Day 1 World Project 2 hours late and so I am catching up in this post.
What is the 1 Day 1 World Project? It is designed to capture daily life moments, one hour at a time, until we reach a full day. For 24 weeks, I’ll post photos taken for a specific hour during that week. Project participants and I will cover 24 hours in 24 weeks. Read more about the 1 Day 1 World Project here.
The project started on May 4 with the noon to 1 hour. I missed the inaugural week and so I am posting it here.
Working from home I share my lunch with my furry family. Well, I don’t really share it, they just keep hoping I will. What you are seeing here is Cooper (dog) trying to get Jack (cat) to go away so Cooper can get anything that spills. Jack will have none of it and holds his ground. They were both out of luck since I was just making a protein drink… no spillage involved.
The week of May 11 (1-2 pm), we went to Santa Barbara for a family get together. The occasion was my husband’s niece’s graduation from college. I love celebrating with family and feel so decadent drinking wine in the early afternoon. 😉
Now that I am all caught up (last week I did 2-3 here), I’ll be posting my 3-4 pm tomorrow!
It’s Whose Blog is it Wednesday, and a few of my favorite bloggers are participating in the 1 Day 1 World Project.
- First of course is Lisa from Northwest Frame of Mind, the brainchild and host of the project. You can find her Noon-1 post here, and 1-2 here. If you would like to join please head here for the guidelines. It will be going on for 24 weeks, and you can join in at any time, you certainly don’t have to catch up your hours if you don’t want to.
- My blogging friend Amy from The World is a Book tuned in at the beginning and you can find her Noon-1 post here, and 1-2 here. She does a lot of traveling, and her photos and text are always fun to look at and read.
- My good friend JX from weliveinaflat also jumped in at the start. You can find her Noon-1 post here, and 1-2 here. JX is posting what her lovely dog Donna does during the 24 hours. She’s not sure what she going to do at night, but we all have that challenge! JX was the host of the wonderful Snappy H’appy Photo Challenge I just finished a few weeks ago. She rocks!
My guess is that as time goes by some of my other blogging friends will be joining in, and in the meantime, I’ll be making new friends all over the world.
As always I am so pleased that you visited. Your comments warm my heart and put a smile in my day. Stay tuned for next Wednesday when I write another mystery post and secretly search my friends’ blogs for related material. It’s a surprise for all of us!
