In honor of Valentine’s Day tomorrow, I got out the first Valentine’s gift I gave my hubby: Love Letters – Variations on a Theme.
I emptied a chocolate box and started gathering all sorts of different things to put in it.
Everything was a love message to my sweetheart, but written on common items.
I gathered them for a few weeks, everything from tea bag sayings to post-its, receipts to facial tissue. And then I added my own words and messages. I even took a screenshot of the ASL symbol for hugs.
Not only was this fun to put together but Tim poured over every item. We’ve written love letters to each other on snail mail cards, in e-mails and texts, but this was a playful celebration of our first Valentine’s Day together.
As always I welcome comments on this or any other part of my blog.
What did my love get me that Valentine’s Day?
