Human identity is the most fragile thing that we have, and it’s often only found in moments of truth.
I spent 2011 taking a photo a day of my surroundings and experiences and created a visual biography of that year. This is one of my self portraits during that year, getting ready for work.
I have added a digital texture to everything but the image in the mirror… hinting that perhaps only my reflection is untroubled.
This begs the question, can we find a moment of truth in a reflection of ourselves or is it merely illusory?
As always I welcome your comments on this or any part of my blog. This post is in response to Ese’s Weekly Shoot and Quote with the prompt Fragile.
