Random Moments of Delight #49: Motorcycle Poetry

I am so pleased this week to combine my random moments of delight with motorcycle poetry.

Hubby Tim took me on a ride from McCall to Riggins (Idaho) on Wednesday for a steak dinner. It was such a lovely day and romantic ride, I simply had to compose some poetry in my mind as I shot photos on the road.

This is the eighteenth post in a series featuring one of my photos taken from the back of our (moving) Honda Sabre Shadow, paired with words I wrote while on the same, or different, ride with my husband (this time the same).

This is one of my favorite meadows on the ride west from McCall to New Meadows. It has been difficult to take a shot worthy of the lovely view from the moving motorcycle… this time I think I did it. Taken with an iPhone 4.

Wildflowers and weeds road hugging the curves,

Acres times acres of tall seeing pines,

Sun drenched skies embrace flying high hawks and heavy winged cranes,

While dainty deer munch evening scented grasses…

My glance catches white flitterbys dance.

Thanks Genevieve! You can’t see it here because of the summer growth, but there is a little broken down house in the trees that looks so picturesque… next goal is to get that in the shot too! lol

I'd love to hear from you!
