Random Moments of Delight #25: Dreams Do Come True

Our dreams of buying the perfect RV have come true!

Recently I wrote a post about creating a ‘vision’ board to attract the perfect RV into our lives (here). Well, that perfect RV found us! Meet Brandywine…

Brandywine was actually on my wish board, but was only in our dreams at the time of that post. Now she’s ours!

This floor plan is very close to Brandy's.

This floor plan is very similar to Brandy’s.

Friday my husband, Tim, flew to Arizona (where the RV is) and signed all the paperwork. We’ll bring her to California in August when we are back from Idaho (we sound so fancy with all this state hopping!). She’s everything we wished for… plenty of power, in beautiful shape, large enough for us to be comfortable and we got her for a great price (with financing!).

Here are the pics Tim took Friday …

Next to dining area, this may be where our computer desk goes.

Couch/double bed (thats the footrest for chair on top). The lovely carpet in the middle there will get an indestructible rug over it! 2 cats, a cattledog and a husband will wreck havoc on it.

Bedroom (and mirrored closets).

And last, but certainly not least, is the glass shower. This is an important thing for my husband, he LOVES showers.

The kind of shower Tim dreams about! And it might even be big enough for two… πŸ˜‰

For those of you who didn’t see the photos of this RV in my earlier post, here are the “official” pics of it.

Woohoo… it has a washer/dryer AND a central vacuum cleaner. What a delight it is when dreams come true! As always I am so pleased that you visited. Your comments warm my heart and put a smile in my day. :D

Looks amazing! We had not heard about this – you kept it pretty quiet at the reunion. Congrats!

That is so awesome! What I would recommend is don’t put something on there that doesn’t give you some happiness or joy (just find another picture or skip it). At first I put stuff on there that represented what I wanted but the picture didn’t inspire me. One year even though I wanted more money, it just didn’t feel clear and good to me to put things like dollar signs and deposit slips with tons on money on them. I really didn’t feel worthy of it so every time I would look at it I felt doubt. Instead I put a picture of something I would do with the money when it came… a lovely vacation spot, art supplies, a christmas tree with lots of presents under it…
I’ve done as many as 5 wishes on one board and I realized over time I was focusing the most on three of them and I just let that be… that’s where the energy was. Again, just be easy about it, don’t expect it to come in a day or a week or a month, but if a little bit of it comes, celebrate! ($50 back on an overpayment on a bill etc).
Have fun! Play like you are a kid and have no limits.

What I’ve read recently about them is just as you have found; I asked because as I first read on Google I noticed my own reaction was one of sadness, as though no it wouldn’t work; kinda if did it I would just be disappointed and more sad; but now I see that’s the hurdle belief I have which I need to get over, or shove out of my way πŸ™‚

so now I’m thinking of making my own very first one πŸ™‚

I believe in them. AND it’s for fun. Does everything I have on my vision board come true exactly as the pictures look? No. Do I have thin thighs because I put a few pics of them up there? No, BUT I did find a way to tone up and change my body fat ratio after it went on a board. What you are doing with a vision board is telling the universe (and yourself) what you want … and then letting it go… and then paying attention to how it comes into your life. Sometimes I have active vision boards up. sometimes they are digital like the RV one. Sometimes I don’t have any up because I’m not sure what direction I want to take yet. You’d be surprised how glancing at a happy vision board that you created with positive stuff lifts your spirits.

Chuckle… it’s pretty fun. I have a whole stack of magazines my hubby wants me to donate to the library, but I’m keeping them for my next vision board.

well how exciting – and I think it is the best way to travel because you do not have to rely on hotels and/or people’s homes –

Thanks Y! I’m itching to see it in person… not to mention live in it! Luckily my life is so wonderful whatever is happening, it’ll come when it comes.

Thanks! I’ve used vision boards for many things and have had some pretty good success. But you have to make sure and let go and not get obsessed by an exact outcome. That’s the hard part! lol

Thanks Sally! I’m looking forward to putting some colorful touches in it’s decor… Firebonnet style. πŸ˜€

It is pretty fancy and big! But for living in it for 6 months at a time I’m glad it’s big. But not to big to keep clean. πŸ˜‰
