Phoneography Challenge: Macro – Tuxedo Cat Nap

Tuxedo Cat Jack Naps

iPhone 4, no other treatment but slight cropping.

When I take iPhone photos of my animals, it’s a crap shoot if they will turn out well. Between poor lighting or messy background (why are they always cute when there’s a dirty sock next to them) and the fact than none of them like to pose, I take many to get at least one that will work. The best time for getting a closeup that isn’t blurry is when they are asleep. Here is my tuxedo cat, Jack, cuddled against my arm. I like how his brow whiskers pop and you can even see random shed hair on his head.

As always I welcome comments on this or any other part of my blog.

Great shot! I know what you mean about getting good kitty shots. They are so cute when the camera is out of reach, but gone like a shot when the camera is ready!

Thank you Sally! And again thank you for the challenge, it’s fun to see everyone’s interpretation of the weekly theme.
