Phoneography Challenge: Macro – My Lover’s Lily

My wonderful husband is an eternal romantic.  He writes me cards, woos me with food and wine, and gives me beautiful bouquets of flowers often.  This week’s phoneography challenge is “macro”, as in a super close up.  I chose a flower from my most recent bouquet.  It seems to me that lilies flaunt their voluptuousness when their blossoms open.  I also know from experience that their pollen stains!  Many a time my tuxedo cat Jack has lifted pollens from a bouquet, and stained us all when we pet him!

Although the original shot was good, I really love the extra oomph I added when I edited it in Snapseed, with that app’s newest feature:  HDR scape.  The colors really pop and the light is otherworldly.  Macros aren’t really my forte, but iPhones are better at doing closeups than zooms.  I’m happy with this one!

As always I’d love to hear your comments on this post or any part of my blog.  See you next week with the next challenge!!!!
