I Feel Like a Goddess

My husband has wooed me with so many bouquets of flowers I feel like a goddess.

When you think of diversity, your mind probably doesn’t go to bouquets, but mine did when I read the prompt diversity for Ese’s Shoot and Quote this week.

The Goddess of Old Europe and Ancient Crete represented the unity of life in nature, delight in the diversity of form, the powers of birth, death and regeneration.

As you can see I have a beautiful collection of images of some of the diverse bouquets Tim has given me during our courtship, and through our marriage. Here is a shot of the bouquet he gave me just last week.

This display of love, unified in its nature, is diverse in its expressions and I delight in all its forms. I enjoy being his goddess (with a little g).

As always I welcome your comments on this or any other part of my blog. Please visit Ese’s Voice for more interpretations of diversity.
