Happy One Year Blogiversary to FireBonnet.com

Today’s a happy day, it’s my one year blogiversary.

A year ago today, May 15, 2013, FireBonnet.com was born and I became a blogger. It took me awhile to gather momentum, but by November of 2013 I was posting regularly. I learned more and more about the blogosphere and started making wonderful friends all over the world.

As a former analyst I am a big fan of stats and I know many bloggers show their yearly statistics in their blogiversary posts. But I’m not in the mood to scrutinize today. Instead I’ll just show photos from my top ten most viewed posts this year. They are not in order so scroll over them if you want to see what number they are. Or you can click on any one of them to see a larger image slide show. To find links to the year’s top ten head to the category: Top 10.

happy

I’m so happy to see three of my Random Moments of Delight posts in the list. Creating that challenge was a high point for me this year, and although it hasn’t caught on in terms of participants, I love writing my Sunday posts. It’s also cool that my relatively new feature, From the Back of a Motorcycle has two in the top 10. I’m a little surprised that none of Buffy’s Haiku Thursdays are close to the top, but she doesn’t seem to care 😉 .

FireBonnet.com is a happy place for me (as I hope it is for you) so I’m going to show you a few of my favorites. (Click on the caption to go to the post.)

I think the post I wrote with the most joy was for my 57th birthday.

So many of our Idaho Adventures to choose from, but this stands out…

My favorite from the Romance category (how Tim and I met… for the second time).

I delight every time I read this RMoD post and listen to the music.

I have so many posts for photo and photo editing challenges it’s almost impossible to choose one. So I’ll just go with the one that makes me happy today. It was my 200th post and part of the Snappy H’appy challenge with JX at weliveinaflat.

There is no way I can pick a favorite motorcycle post, they all bring me such joy. Maybe I should ask my biker husband which his is. 😉

It’s been a wonderfully creative and enriching year for me, and I can’t wait to see what happy things (and friends) my next year blogging will bring.

As always I am so pleased that you visited. Your comments warm my heart and put a smile in my day. 😀

P.S. I simply have to pick one of Buffy’s haikus, so she doesn’t feel left out (Cooper’s and Jack’s posts were in the top 10).

Happy Blogiversary! I clicked the Second First Date story and I LOVED it. Meant to be is meant to be. Can’t argue with that….

Thank you Paricia. Yes, there will be more Idaho posts coming very soon. We head off for five weeks at the ranch at the end of June. I’m afraid you will be inundated! I hope no one gets sick of them… 😀

Oh yes I will Mara… after all I do have to show at least one painted nails post just for you. Oh wait! I think I have one. I decided to paint my nails when I went in for my hip replacement surgery (I also cut and colored my hair – gotta be cheery for what ended up a week in the hospital).
    Painted nails and yellow jello.

Awww, thanks Mary. We are researching RVs at the moment and I’m trying to figure out how to find space for two computer stations(blogging will continue!). How are you set up in yours?
