From the Back of a Motorcycle #9: Sky Sweeping Palms

Southern California has beautiful motorcycle riding weather, yet we can go through mist, blazing sun and chilly ocean breezes all on the same day.

This is the ninth post in a series featuring one of my photos taken from the back of our (moving) Honda Sabre Shadow, paired with words I wrote while on a ride with my husband.

April 2014, taken with a Canon PowerShot A560. Edited in Pixlr Express.

Early mist smoked trees

near riotous rose woven fences.

Alien yucca blooms, secret scented yellow flowers,

and tall palms, blue sky sweeping.

Thank you for visiting. I wish I could take all of you on our rides with us! Your comments warm my heart and put a smile in my day. 😀 And stay tuned for more poetry in motion.

Thanks Mary. This weekend we drove the turbo (no back rest) and I realized how much I depend on a backrest when I’m taking shots. Especially looking up!
