From the Back of a Motorcycle #14: Pungent Eucalyptus

Huge eucalyptus trees line the country roads around our home in California, and when it’s damp they are so aromatic. On those wet mornings the driest land turns green.

This is the fourteenth post in a series featuring one of my photos taken from the back of our (moving) Honda Sabre Shadow, paired with words I wrote while on the same, or different, ride with my husband.

March 29, 2014 Camarillo area California. Taken with a Canon PowerShot A560 from the back of a moving motorcycle

Pungent scent of eucalyptus,

Waving wind towers,

Talking by hugs through heavy jackets,

and bright sun on rain fresh green… everything.

I thought you’d like that one! It’s one of my favorite phrases, because it is true for every ride.
