From the Back of a Motorcycle #12: Wind Whipped Cheeks

The weather in So Cal during the spring is so variable, one ride we’re sweating the next ride it’s chilly and the wind whips our cheeks.

This is the twelfth post in a series featuring one of my photos taken from the back of our (moving) Honda Sabre Shadow, paired with words I wrote while on the same, or different, ride with my husband.

Santa Paula, CA. April 2014, taken with a Canon PowerShot A560 from the back of a moving motorcycle.

Moist misty morn,

Wind whipped cheeks,

And the heady scent of orange blossom air

   for miles and miles…

Thank you for visiting. I wish I could take all of you on our rides with us! Your comments warm my heart and put a smile in my day. :D  And stay tuned for more poetry in motion.
