From the Back of a Motorcycle #10: River Hugging

This past summer my husband and I took a three-day motorcycle ride through Idaho and Montana, past phenomenal mountain ranges and river after gorgeous river.

This is the tenth post in a series featuring one of my photos taken from the back of our (moving) Honda Sabre Shadow, paired with words I wrote while on a ride with my husband.

Sweat wet hand in glove

River hugging roads

Bevies of swimming birds

and a nest sitting bald eagle…

Thank you for visiting. I wish I could take all of you on our rides with us! Your comments warm my heart and put a smile in my day. :D And stay tuned for more poetry in motion.

Thanks! That’s what I was hoping. I have so many posts with little viewership since I’m such a new blogger… I’m hoping to get a little more readership for them. Trying to cover all the bases for mobile viewers (tablets and phones) as well as different size monitors etc. is quite the challenge as well.

Thanks Y! It was such a hot day that day. AND hubby took a wrong turn and added about 90 minutes to our already long day. By the time I got to the motel, my hand had black dye on it from all the sweat. But it was GREAT!

I also really like the look of your blog these days – and the older post “selected just for you” is cool – like if readers want to go back and peruse your older posts that makes it super inviting. 🙂

what a great photo for this week’s entry – I love all that blue and mountain scape with the old worn down fence. 🙂 and your poem is cool – especially the “sweat wet hand in glove….”
Have a great week Meghan \>

That sounds like a road trip to me! I hope you have a great time. Taking a camera really makes you look at things differently.

Thank you! That’s one I never published as a tweet, it’s been waiting in my iphone notes for 10 months!

Absolutely LOVE this photo! I really need to go on a road trip and soon. I think it’d be fun to do; though, I am driving down to KY next month, which should be fun. It’ll be my first time and I will be taking a TON of pictures to share.
