FireBonnet Friday – Animal Messengers

My vlog today focuses on an art journal page I created inspired by animal messengers.

Jack Cat is not exactly the messenger I talk about in my vlog…. but his energy is always a rich addition to any art piece.

Do you get spirit messages during your day? Maybe you see a special animal, or find a heart-shaped rock. Here’s how 4 such messages came to me one day and became an art journal page.

I paid attention to all the messages I got. I need to be gentle with myself since I am a high achiever and not happy with failure, thank you Deer. Hummingbird, I am always happy to receive your reminder to live in joy. Butterfly, your message is so apropos now as I am branching out creatively in the art and now video worlds. I must remember that we are always transforming and it’s simply a matter of recognizing where we are in that transformation and respecting it. And Dragonfly, your message of illusion… what is real and what is not, shifts like the light on your magical wings. Thank you my animal friends.

I’m looking forward to next week when the Season of Music begins at Get Messy Art Journal.

Thank you! The season started Monday and I’m working on my first page. I love ballerinas too… I really should drag tim to the ballet sometime.

I really enjoyed the peek into how you work. I was admiring the color work on the animal messengers page, wondering how you achieved it. “Magical powders.” Of course!
