After sleeping through a hundred million centuries we have finally opened our eyes on a sumptuous planet, sparkling with color, bountiful with life. Within decades we must close our eyes again. Isn’t it a noble, an enlightened way of spending our brief time in the sun, to work at understanding the universe and how we have come to wake up in it? This is how I answer when I am asked ‘as I am surprisingly often’ why I bother to get up in the mornings. -Richard Dawkins

I have a few updates for you.

  1. Random Moments of Delight has changed from a weekly (lately sporadic weekly) to a monthly happening. RMoD will be posted the first Sunday of every month and the link-up will last all month. Please feel free to join in!

  2. 2catsandacattledog blog is on winter haitus. Tuxedo Jack, Buffy Cat and Cooper the Cattledog are hibernating in a motor home in Bakersfield, CA and don’t have enough to write about. They are sleeping a lot.. shedding all over the RV and dreaming of the Idaho ranch.

  3. 2016 has decided to be a year of transformation for me. Spiritual discovery, emotional recovery, and hanging on to my sanity during uncovery. I decided to start a darker blog letting go of feel-good FireBonnet to write as moody Starfire. My blog’s tagline is: Just another bipolar, pagan, artistic empath’s journal. I’ve committed to a year of art journaling, which is turning out to be art therapy and who knows what’s going to come of it. If you want to take this serious, madcap and often chaotic journey with me, hang on and follow along at Starfire Blossoms.

Thanks Mary! As you well know, it isn’t that easy to find beauty in butt-ugly places (grin). But, fallen leaves and some roots peeking thru the soil of winter found me.
