Cloud Soft Blue

My heart stops

and becomes cloud soft blue

enveloping frost-laden branches

On the west side of our woods I want to build a bench.

So that I may sit and contemplate my favorite view from the ranch, the next door pasture. There’s just something about the copses of trees that make my heart sing when I see them.

I took this photo today and the poem appeared out of cloud soft air.

I continued to enjoy the feeling of ‘enveloping the frost-laden branches’ while I made this art journal page a few hours later.

Do you have views, at work or school or home, that capture your heart? Tell me!

May your day be divine!

I'd love to hear from you!
