1 Day 1 World Project: 7-8 pm – Truck Stuff

What happened this week between 7-8 pm at our house? Our truck Clyde had his brakes tuned and an oil change.

This week in the 1 Day 1 World Project hosted by Lisa at Northwest Frame of Mind I’m giving you a glimpse into my personal world between 7-8 pm (you can find hours noon-7 here).

No, that is not my husband lying dead under the trailer. He is trying to figure out why the trailer brakes aren’t working. Since he gets home from work late, 7-8 pm is the earliest he can tackle the chores for our trip to Idaho (we leave on Friday!). On Monday he asked a friend to help him figure out why the connection between the truck and the trailer wasn’t working.

With their two brains, and the help of a foam pad, they figured it out. After buying what they needed at the auto parts store (always a fun trip for guys), they got them to work. Hooray!

Tuesday night it was time for our truck Clyde (short for Clydesdale btw) to get his oil changed. Once again, my husband has not been run over…

Cooper the cattledog and I came out to keep Tim company now and then, and bring him paper towels and cold beer, until the task was completed. One more thing checked off the list of tasks to be done before we leave for our coveted vacation!

As always I am so pleased that you visited. Your comments warm my heart and put a smile in my day. :D Come back next week when I share what I did in my day between 8 and 9 pm in Idaho…  it’ll be a surprise for both of us!

I know right? I have a picture of him under the truck last year at this time and it was for a different trailer… go figure.

What is it about trailers and their electronics? We are getting ready to hitch ours up from the weekend and I’m holding my breath and crossing my fingers that everything is in working order!

Of course! I’m going to have to figure out how I’m going to share them in an easy way for me. The past two summers I did it through Instagram which posted directly to twitter and Facebook. BUT I’m not really doing instagram anymore and now I have this blog… hmmmmm. I guess we will just have to see how I feel. 😀

I’m glad everything is running smoothly because I can’t wait to see your photos from Idaho once you get away for vacation. 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing your 8:00 hour with us!
