1 Day 1 World Project: 2-3 pm – Lazy Afternoon

My friend Lisa at Northwest Frame of Mind has a brilliant idea and she’s invited bloggers from around the world to join in.

Lisa explains:

One of my note pad ideas is a 1 Day 1 World project designed to capture daily life moments, one hour at a time, until we reach a full day.  The format is structured like the television show 24 with each hour of the day having its own week and running for a total of 24 weeks from May through October.  During these six months the Northern Hemisphere will transition from spring to fall while the Southern Hemisphere moves from fall to spring and with enough participation not only will we view a virtual 24 hour day we can also experience each of the four seasons through our global community.

I’m a little late coming to the project, as Lisa began a few weeks ago with the noon to one hour. But I’m here now, and I’ve prepared a sweet video to let all of you around the world know what usually happens in my life between 2 and 3 pm. And I can’t wait to see your 2 to 3!

I work at the computer in my home office all day, and I am assisted by two cats and a cattledog. By about 2 pm Cooper (the dog) lets me know it’s time to go outside.

I invite you to enjoy our Camarillo spring weather with us while we lie in the grass.

If you have trouble viewing this video, the original is here on YouTube.

As always I am so pleased that you visited. Your comments warm my heart and put a smile in my day. :D Come back next week when I share what I did in my day between 3 and 4… it’ll be a surprise.. for both of us!

Justine, what a wonderful compliment! I’m so glad you liked it. Yes, Cooper is devoted to me. I’ve decided to do more with video (although I will keep them short… I get discouraged when I see a video someone’s posted that’s longer than 3 minutes… I go into information overload very easily 😉 ). xoxoxo

I love it when you comment Y. I love the music too… I’m finally figuring out how to make videos. I like putting stills and video together (although I have to remember to take the video in landscape mode for best effect!) I’ve been inspired by your videos btw.

Absolutely! It’s a terrific project and I’m keeping tabs on my 3-4 hour for this week. I might even catch up on the two I missed… Oh, and I made a cute badge so people can know where I am in the world. (I’m really into badges at the moment 😉 )

Oh wow this is one of my fav posts of yours due to the video I loved the music and it was so relaxing seeing those majestic trees sway in the breeze and then you looking so happy and your cattle dog awe brought a tear to my eye he almost looked human posing for the camera and obviously loves you soooo much xx

love the video – the music was the best part for me – it fit so well with the photos – and the stills mixed with video was just so artsy Meghan – really enjoyed it – and the post! 🙂 ~y.

Aw, thanks so much Cupcake. Mom couldn’t decide if it was a selfie or a photobomb! I guess it depends on your point of view. If it was her selfie I’m the photobomb, but since it’s my selfie… tee hee… it’s a Cooper selfie. And a fine one I must say. Thank you for stopping by Cupcake! ~ Cooper

I LOVE the pictures and video, especially the sound of the leaves. Coop, you are a super fun best friend for your mom. Selfie-hound!

    Love and licks,

I saw that! Thank you very much. At this point I still only have a few participants and I’m using the Fiesta Friday model with the linky on another page and then putting the links into the post. How did you make your grids? Collage app?
